Terms of service

1. What this is
Vrtasyn is an ad server. You use it to run advertising on websites you control, and to sell that space to your own advertisers. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must be able to enter a contract and must give a working email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your team does.
3. Sites you may use it on
You may only install Vrtasyn on sites you own or are authorised to manage.
4. What you may not advertise
You may not use Vrtasyn to serve:
- Malware, cryptominers, or anything that redirects or hijacks a visitor's browser
- Content that is illegal where it is served
- Material that sexually exploits children, or that incites violence or hatred
- Deceptive advertising, fake system warnings, or fake download buttons
- Anything that misrepresents who the advertiser is
We review creatives before they serve and may reject or remove any of them. Accounts serving the above are suspended immediately and without refund — a single bad actor puts every other customer's delivery at risk, so we are strict about this.
5. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You are billed on ad requests: one per ad slot loaded, whether or not an ad was available to fill it. Your fill rate is shown in the dashboard.
Going over your plan does not switch your ads off. Overage is billed at $1.50 per additional million requests. We email you at 80% and 100% of your allowance.
Cancel any time from the billing page. Your plan continues to the end of the paid period and then drops to the free tier — we do not switch your ads off when a subscription ends. Payments already made are not refunded except where required by law.
6. The marketplace
If you list ad space for sale, sponsors pay by card and Stripe transfers the balance to your connected account. We retain a platform fee of 4% of each booking, shown before you list.
The contract for the advertising itself is between you and the sponsor. You decide whether to approve a creative. We are not a party to that agreement and do not guarantee any level of delivery, clicks or sales to either side.
7. Uptime
We work to keep the service up and do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. If you need one, talk to us first rather than assuming it.
8. Your data
Your data stays yours. You can export it at any time and ask us to delete it. See the privacy policy for what we collect and why.
9. Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 4, does not pay, or is being used to harm others — immediately where the risk is serious, otherwise with reasonable notice.
10. Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost advertising revenue, lost profits, or indirect losses.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
